Port of Shreveport-Bossier Recognized with AAPA 2007 Communications Awards

The Port of Shreveport-Bossier was announced as a winner in two categories of the American Association of Port Authorities’ 2007 Communications Awards.

Selected for Awards of Merit in the Annual Reports and the Audio & Visual Presentations categories, the port will be recognized during the association’s Port Awards luncheon Oct. 3 in Virginia. The luncheon is held to recognize achievements in communications, environmental improvement, information technology and facilities engineering.

Founded in 1912, the American Association of Port Authorities is a trade association that represents more than 150 public port authorities in the United States, Canada, the Caribbean and Latin America, according to its Web site, aapa-ports.org.
